new youth hostel, good location, patient and kind people

the price was best in the city the staff was very nice and helped in everything and did extra the location is great very good atmosphere

The staff were friendly and informative, and they went to the trouble of making a vegetarain option for dumpling night. The breakfast menu was fantastic! The tours that Mr Panda offer are good value.

The one eyed panda motif on the toilet in my room was strange, but other than that there no negatives.

Great location, easy to get to from the airport, just take bus 300 and get off opposite the plaza department store. Easy walking distance to Mao statue and peoples park. The food was great at the restaurant and they had a free dumpling making and eating class one night we were there!

Only issue we had was with booking train tickets, the staff were unable to book one for us and the travel agent they recommended down the street wouldn't take to foreigners!

I think I has booked a double room but only twin room left and it doesn't really matter. The worst is that the room smells badly.

Relaxing atmosphere, soft bed, friendly staff, good location with buses and underground with walking distance, reasonable price.

Need to wait for a long time to get hot water for shower, the rooms on first floor are a bit narrow and without windows.

The hostel is very good , and the staff are also nice . there are many guests from various contries . It is convenience to visit the sight of WenShuYuan and you can find delicious SiChuan food around the hostel.

Compared to other hotels, a bit expensive because the rooms are small and basic, but the offred services compensate this. The espace to dry clothes is really to small for all the people who use this service.

The staff is very helpful and speaks English. The manager of the hostel speaks English and can recommand trips and other tips. The location is excelent, near the metro and bus stations to the big budha and the pandas

The best aspect of the hostel is Mr Panda, the owner, and his staff. Extremely friendly and helpful with good English, always ready to answer your questions, recommend places to visit, book excursions, find good hostel deals in other cities in China etc. The common area of the hostel is very cosy. There are nice sofas and a big table for relaxing and sharing experiences with other travelers and Mr Panda, different Chinese games that the staff teaches You to play, plenty of books, great music, affordable snacks and drinks. Just lovely! Mr Panda also organizes free dumpling cooking and eating nights, which we truly enjoyed! The location of the hostel is also very convenient. Close to the metro, food shops, great local restaurants (Mr Panda can recommend You an amazing place for eating the famous rabbit head dish. Delicious!), Tianfu square. Also the People' s Square is not too far to reach on foot. The room of the hostel was rather small, but clean, with a comfortable double bed, air conditioning (a great luxury during the summer months) and cosy lighting. We were very satisfied with our stay! Definitely recommend!

The wi-fi could be faster. The bathroom floor is not the best - stays wet for a long time after using shower.
